Well done England Egg Chasers

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Didn't say you haven't won anything yet, just that you haven't won the cup yet. You still have to beat the Argies or the 'Boks to get that.

If the Argies get to the final, you guys will win it, but I doubt you could beat the Springboks. Anythings possible though...

Yep, well done the rugger buggers and it should be a good night out next saturday after the Bolton game to watch the final. To be honest I payed more attention to that than the England footy game, was waffling in the pub to mates more than watching, fink I saw about 20 mins maximum. I think it was at half time, they showed Adebayors volleyed goal against the spuds and one erm....spud was making a few detrimental comments  until someone pointed out to him that he was standing next to about 7 gooners and after that he kept his opinions on the matter to himself    All in good fun tho

I think they should show Adebayor's goal at half-time during every game!

Well played Charlie  8)

Don't think I'll ever tire of seeing that goal and if it'd been scored by Rooney or Ronaldo I think there's a slight chance that we'd have seen it replayed a few times more than we've seen Adebayors

Hang on.....Argentina are no push overs!! They made us look very average last time we played them, and they are more than capable of an upset or two!! Their pack is good, but the backs havent got the skill of ours!

I'd personally like to see the boks in the final, so we can pay them back for the whooping they gave us a few weeks ago. If we want to win the World Cup we have to be prepared to beat the best teams

I think England are going to struggle against either team.

Argentina have some of the best players in the world at the moment - and South Africa have the one wildcard left in Habana on the wing.

Habana is a real speedster.

Speaking of pace, who would you guys pick as the fastest sports stars outside of proffessional running?

Walcott is probably the quickest we have, but on a global scale how quick is he?

Oh, and the Springboks will beat you guys...
