As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Really looking forward to the game against Bolton. As usual I`m a bit worried, but thats normal for me We will be missing RvP, but now Eduardo can get some matches, and that will be good for him, and hopefully us Gallas and Rosicky is back, so this must be three points???
In my opinion it is a must for eduardo to either score against bolton or prague, two home games and if he can score one in either two it will give him confidense for the big games to come. He will need to chip in, in them big games if arsenal are going to get anything from them. He may have scored again for Croatia but his biggest challenge will be to score for the arsenal.
There's no place to hide in a ground like the emirates if ur not pulling ur weight and having a bad day, so lets get behind him.

Or maybe that's just me...
I think we will win the game, and I will NOT keep it to myself. Why not be positive? Of course we will win, we are The Arsenal!
Fair enough, be positive. I encourage it. However, I do not encourage saying things like "of course we will win" and "this must be three points" because it's the kind of stuff that football pundits say in order to set up a headlining story when the underdog gets a result.
Rather than talk about how we are definitely going to win and run the risk of being left with egg on my face, I'm going to just watch the bloody game, sing a few songs and see what happens. I suggest we all do the same.
Almunia will muck up so Anelka (if not him, Diouf) will put them 1-0 and suddenly Bolton remember how to defend, we lose and are forever taunted about the caretaker curse

I take your points. The fact is that I`m very nervous about the game, and I feel better when I say that we are going to win. And I thought maby other pepole felt the same.
If we lose a game I will be sad whatever what I thought before the game.
I can't see us losing to Bolton, I believe that even without RVP we will prove to strong at home in front of 60,000. Yes teams quite often do well immediately after losing their manager but that isn't always the case, just ask Chelsea. So I am predicting a 4-1 win for us.
everyones comng back from internationals so im not expecting a thrashing. eduardo should be sharp and fabregas played well last week then just 10 mins on wednesday.
im worried about rosicky though, dnt wanna throw him back in too early. i hope he can be the pires we all want him to be. he is my favourite player to watch in the world when he is on form!
be interesting now that almunia has been named as starting, if old jens will be happy with a wooly hat on the bench?
