As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
is it fair to say he has been a slight disapointment? he has had injuries i know but apart from anfield in the fa cup last year he has not really delivered for us,

I don`t agree i always think we look much better with him in the team. just a sham he`s always injured
Think he has done ok, but he can do better. Agree with you myarsenal, it is something different (in a good way) when he is on the field
Just hope he can go a long time without injuries....
i would like to c theo given a run of games i really believe that would bring him out of this shell he is in, where just when you think he is going to take the game by storm the 30 minute cameo v sunderland to an inept performance for the under 21s, ive got a feeling it could be theo day 2morrow
That was tongue in cheek, Gooners444. It was related to another thread.
But I find it interesting that if Smoothie has a negative comment about a player, it's 'constructive criticism' but if someone else says something negative, it's not supporting the team. They call that double standards.

Thought as much - if someone sez something negative then that's ok but when someone is negative over 90% of the time that's hardly constructive, especially when to say the least it very rarely stands up to close scrutiny and is driven by a personal agenda, and in answer to your previous post, it is fair to judge as the very word suggests, but some posts are more akin to a kangaroo court!

I say let us say what we think before a game, and let us discuss the players in our beloved team If I think a player has not played well, I am not negative against the team or even the player, but hope he does better in the future. But a fact is a fact - it`s not kindergarten.
His injuries have been frustrating and he could score more but I have enjoyed watching him play, if the new excersises work then yay, if not, pity but not been disappointed personally.
