As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
i just seen the highlughts and clattenburg seemed to get a yellow card out his pocket, gerrard had a word and then pulled out a red card to hibbert who wasnt booked before the challnge.
I think Clattenberg is one of the better Refs in the premiership he done the Spud vs Arsenal game and reffed it very well in my personal opinion. not sure about yesterday as I didnt see the game

Yesterday he was a bastardhole His performance was not pretty.
Normally someone cay say that the ref made bad calls for both sides but that was the most one sided ref performance since the Battle of the Buffet. What did Lescott have to do to get a penalty?

Take it from me O2S he had a shocker and his decision to wave away Lescott's appeal defies belief!
I know it's not connected to yesterday's performance in the liverpool derby but, it's a regular problem for english refs and Clattenberg is a great example, they talk so much!
We're in the middle of a game, there is a small push on a player, so the ref decides to stop the whole match and give the player an educational talk (you could see it in the nhl, when Almunia tried to get the ball off fat huddelstone). It frustrates the players and than the game becomes much more violent and difficult to the ref himself.
