ARSENAL KIT FETISH?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wish more kits were added like the 3rd from the 90s
Oh course the green is the best (despite it being before my days, better with the JVC though)
I like the 86 away shirt

Their is an embarrasing picture of me in the 1978-82 kit (which I got at christmas from my parents), standing in full kit with one foot on top of the ball (like old pictures of stanley matthews if you can imagine - and the ball was orange!) It's ok, because I was only 32 at the time

Things I noticed from the above, which I quite liked by the way Justin-the-Gooner:

**If you think the club take the piss these days in changing the kit, have a look at what they did between 29-34!

**It's just as well 1968 was still the age of black and white TV.

**Victory in WWII was celebrated by bringing out the same kit but with new socks! Rationing I suppose.

**I haven't bought a football shirt since Arsenal brought out the away '91 shirt. I mean - who on earth would buy that thing?
