Now there have been questions if Jol was the right man to take them into the top four, valid questions but the way to deal with it is to either back him or have sacked him in the summer. I'm pretty sure ignoring what your managers wants, buying in players he didn't want (like Bent) and then underming him in public is a sure fire way not to finish in the top four.
Anyone remember Bobby Robson at Newcastle? It is like that

Its funny Newcastle are the Sp*rs of the north so comparing them isnt far wrong, both have a myth of playing attractive football, both havent won anything for years and both teams havent won much in their entire history yet claim to be a big club. As for Jol his days are numbered i think unfortunately because i think he is doing a great job.Anyone remember Bobby Robson at Newcastle

I think it is a disgrace the way Arsenal fans are gloating at the recent dimise of our neighbours. I think we should be supporting them in their hour of need, telling anyone who will listen that they have been hit hard with injuries and that when everyone is back fit that there will be a match for anybody and that they clearly are on the right road. If we are not careful they might actually sack old fathead jol and actually appoint a decent manager that might save them from relegation and we dont want that do we

I’m in two minds about this one. Part of me says that Jol’s doing a top job in taking Spuds ever closer to the relegation trapdoor and that I’d like to see him stick around for as long as possible. Another part of me says that he’s actually the most capable manager they’ve had for years (OK, so that’s a bit like being voted the best dressed man in Moldova, but you get my drift) and that their current problems are down to the club’s delusions of grandeur and their desperation for a top 4 finish e.g. panic buying average players over the manager’s head and undermining him by tapping up other coaches etc.

Everytime i think they may appoint a decent manager they never do.The last manager to win a trophy for the Spuds was George Graham.Who was was sacked for not playing football the Tottenham way which is losing football of courseaugie wrote:I think it is a disgrace the way Arsenal fans are gloating at the recent dimise of our neighbours. I am officially announcing my candidacy for Sp*rs manager. Not only do I think of myself as more tactically inept than Jol, I am certain that I could bring unbridled joy to North London (the red half...after sending the Tiny Totts down).
Seriously though, wouldn't it be hilarious if someone like TA took over, under similar circumstances as GG and drove them in to the ground?! It'll never happen, but just entertain the thought...
