Today feels like the beginning of the end.

As some of you well know, I used to be a proper rose tinter. I've sadly lost faith in AW and no longer feel he should be the manager unless he sorts out the obvious problems.

Even the most optimistic of tinters are now wavering too. It really feels like the end of an era. I'd be very sad to see Arsene sacked after all hes done but it would be in the best interests of the club.

I've voted yes although it could change if he buys the right players in January which I doubt very much.

He has turned a team of invincibles packed full of world class players in every position, into a team of gutless, mediocre, mercenary losers. I hate looking at his gormless turnip head, I hate looking at a once unflappable manager jumping up and down constantly moaning at the 4th official for 90 minutes. I hate looking at yes man Pat Rice sitting next to turnip, yes boss, no boss, Bendtner’s world class boss. Arshavin, Denilson, Almunia, Diaby, Eboue, Squilacci, Vela, Bendtner, CRETINS to a man.

His refusal to buy, his stubbornness to do things only one way, his way, his project, his blind belief that the dross he’s surrounded himself with, the dross on massive contracts despite being gutless losers can win trophies makes me physically ill. I want him gone, I want him sacked, humiliated, the same way he has humiliated the fans time and time again over the past 6 years.

TURNIP OUT.

Should have gone a long time ago.
I hope this poll turns up the result I am hoping for, I call on every forum member to vote to give a genuine reflection of how fans feel.
If it is positive towards the manager then I suppose the anti-wenger among us will have to accept that we are in the minority.
If however there is a huge majority calling for him to go, then may I suggest we send the result to AFC.
I know it may not do much good, but at least someone at the club will open it and see how the fans are feeling.

The only people who are still fully behind Wenger are the likes of Louder. I used to see the positives, as the team was young, we had a lot of injuries but every time this team is on the brink of winning something or challenging for the title they bottle it. I've seen enough now. :banghead: :(

Thats the good thing about twitter, send it to the press and arsenaldotcom, even the players.

I'm sure the press read these forums as well, I start the same thread on .com board too.

Just feels like another Groundhog Season for me. Lots of pre-Christmas promise, a few early spectacular goal sprees against the minor European teams in the CL, some totally inept defending, wrongly diagnosed injuries to key players, inadequate squad cover in certain positions owing to negligence in the transfer window.....

....and it will end with

1. "A lap of appreciation"

2. Lots more early Summer promises about being on the verge of something special, developing / maturing etc.

3. The Arsene Knows brigade drowning out anyone who begs to differ

I'm starting to wonder if it's even worth getting wound up about these days. He has the job for life that works for him, the board and 80% of the fans....so apart from a few of us it works for everyone

Good luck with the project Arsene - any idea when it's due to end ?

Don't forget the Carling Cup will be paraded and the buzzword around the bowl next summer will be 'springboard'

Us realists got a long hard summer ahead listening to the 'gloating' of the AKBs

The end began before today.

To be honest, if we fail to win the CC (even if it was in the final) I really think the pressure will be close to tipping point. The tide’s been slowly turning for a little while now & these things are often a bit of a snowball effect. As I said in another thread the other week, if/when the press really start to question his performance a lot of the more JCL Arsenal=Arsene-brigade at the bowl may start to turn too. The core support, whether pro or anti-Wenger, who spend all day every day thinking/debating all things Arsenal will obviously make (have made) their own minds up but there’s a fair number of “floating votersâ€
