Passport Help..

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Passport Help..

Post by Gooner_Sam »

Just had a glance at my passport and see it runs out next month, when of course the return Barcelona leg is in March.

The one ive been using is a child passport, Can i automatically renew it whilst switching to an adult passport?

I also wanted to use the one day premium service, although im unsure if im eligible for this. If anyone has any information It would be gratefully received :D

Who can apply to renew an adult passport and when

Find out how to renew your passport and how long it takes. You don’t have to wait until your passport has run out - you can renew it at any time. The Identity and Passport Service (IPS) will cancel your old passport when it issues a new one.

Who can renew their passport

You can apply to renew your passport if you still have your last passport and:

* it was a standard UK adult ten-year passport or a UK five-year child's passport issued before you were 16
* it is undamaged
* you do not need to change your name or national status

You cannot renew your passport if:

* you were previously included as a child on someone else's passport

In this case you will need to apply for a first adult passport.

Just off the top of my head

I don't think it's worth it mate - you have plenty of time if you do it now, and only need for the game in March.

The current turnaround time for passport renewals is 3 to 4 weeks so if I was you I'd just do the normal service which is £77.50.

The fast track services are over £100  What a fucking joke.
