usual thread starter… I wonder if this improvement in the number of shots from distance a consequence of

a – wenger telling the players to stop over-elaborating

b – th14 moving on forcing a change in the tactics

or c – the players just working it out for themselves

The key element in the long range shooting has been the example set by Fabregas

I can't count the number of attempts that especially Fabregas had last season with little success. If he had succeeded with even half of those attempts he would have had a very satisfactory return.

Although there may have been some emphasis on this issue close season, this would not be the issue it is had we just finished better last season.

The success of Arsenal's long range shooting is entirely the reason for their success this season.

And of the three reasons that the ed suggested in the thread starter, probably a combination of all three.

I watched all of last years games either at the ground, on foreign satellite or Sky and the the over elaborate passing was glaringly obvious.

The second biggest bugbear of last term was the corners, that to we've had a bit more success with this term.

Well I don"t know about being the reason.

But I reckon Cesc has had more shots this season then all of last season but he needs to keep going.

Shooting from range

I reckon that's where we hold a massive advantage over so many other teams - we just perform well time and again with long shots. What do you make of tomorrows game against Man Utd? I'm putting my money on 2-0 to us - the odd father blog at http://premiershipbetting.betfair.com/ is saying to bet on Arsenal, I totally agree.
