Spurs Bid £38m for player?

Spurs Bid £38m for player?

Post by I Hate Hleb »

According to SSN, the spuds have had a bid of £38.5m for Sergio Aguero rejected by A. Madrid.

Now Atletico's chairman has a reputation for speaking rubbish in the media in order to pacify his fans but if this is true...... :banghead: :banghead:

Good player. Deserves to end up somewhere better than Stratford Hotspur.

True but the Arsenal Board does not want that, because it would expose the fact that the Arsenal Board has not put a penny of their own money into anything but buying shares and bar the two billionaires no Board member p-aid over 2K a share, and several Board member never paid any money for their shares as they were family heritages.

If these people were allowed to put their own money in the club the multimillionaires at the club who have put nothing into it would look bad for that, hence the philosophical opposition on their part to that being done even as they look to cash in to the tune of 500% profits and much higher even on their initial investments - if they actually made any from their own pockets.

Nobody put their own money in the club before that either - certainly not from the current Booard - including those who served on it the last decade by all accounts I am aware of.

Regardless, it's effected our transfer policy since we've built the thing.

Actually according to the people who decided to build it it hasn't.

And if they had in fact sold Highbury straight nnstead of brrowing another 120 million GBP to redevelop it ourselves away it actually might not have done that at all even.
