Arsenal's Number 9!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal's Number 9!

Post by Arsenal Till I Die »

Since Eduardo left us the number 9 shirt is free and I expected NB52 to snap it up if I'm honest. Some say the shirt is cursed and those who have worn it in the last few years are:

Jeffers
Reyes
Baptista
Eduardo

Now I know he may be part of the deal to take Torres to Chelsea but I'd love to see Anelka back at Arseal in the number 9 shirt and is value is only around £8 million.

But do you think we will get our new number 9 from within (e.g Bendtner? Wellington?) or buy *yes I used the b word* a new one in the summer.

I should expect an internal solution. Somebody who has massive potential, huge desire and great belief.

Bendy wont take it, he has only recently changed to the number 52 through his own choice.
