predictions for anfield

Post by stearmaster »

after a fabulous 7-0 victory v slavia prague our players must be very confident going into sundays game, and with liverpool losing they will be looking to revive themselves, my prediction for this 1 is going to be a 2-2 draw, but hope and pray for the win in the game witch will be our toughess test yet.....come on you young guns remember the carling cup!!! :D

My prediction: us to win 2-0. Sounds a bit over-optimistic given how tough Anfield can be to visit but they look very beatable at the moment, almost no-one looking like they're enjoying playing. I also maintain that they lack quality on the flanks. Torres may well be making a comeback, and he could do us some damage, but still, anything other than a win and I'd be disappointed.

The United game will be different: their form is as good as ours, and I reckon that one will be a draw.

Okay, controversially & very pessimistically I think we will taste our first of three consecutive defeats. I predict Liverpool to turn us over on Sunday, followed by a narrow defeat for the kids up at Brammel Lane and finally our second ever home defeat at the Grove against the Mancs next weekend. I think we will then follow that by a draw in Prague and then back to winning ways against Reading. So often when our long successful runs come to an end we enter freefall for a few matches after, I can see this being the case again.

Okay just kidding...........................................3 - 1 to Arsenal 8) 8)

What I see of Liverpool in the week, they all looked pretty ragged. Gerrard doesnt look at all fit and usually if he's not playing well the rest of the team tend to follow suit. Their defence is not playing well so I think (this is only me) if we play our usual continually attacking football we are just gonna wear them down. I dont think Fat Pancho will be able to put out a blocking team as we now shoot outside the area as well which is fucking up the 10 men in front of goal now. I dont expect an exciting game, I expect plenty of hacking down from them but I think we will win as the lads are fitter, younger, hungry for it and attack the whole game and our pace will wear them out.

2-0 to the Arsenal

I predict that we will again struggle with Peter Crouch and the question will be whether we can take our chances.

i predict that if rafa picks two defensive midfielders and trys to nick one nil then we will struggle,, suppose we will go with togo's finest on his own up front so a lot will depend on the hlebster,, just hope we take our chances when they come,,

I predict a riot! sorry couldnt resist!

There Defence is weak without Agger so exploit that to the full, Hypia isnt the player of old. Question 5 midfield or 2 up from with RvP out? Walcott is likely to start on the bench.

TS has predicted 9-0 and remember he predicted the Prague result! Seriously I think Delgooner summed up my views almost perfectly but I think we'll let in a goal. 2-1 to the Arsenal.
