Best Football Stadia

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Best Football Stadia

Post by Barriecuda »

Which do you guys fancy?

I like our quaint little football-specific stadium in Toronto.

I think Allianz Arena is also spectacular.

For those who don't know, the outside colors are based on who's playing inside, as Bayern Munchen and 1860 Munchen both play there.

And 'La Bombonera' of Boca Juniors is spectacular.

Blimey the San Siro a cathedral
Beauty in the eye and all that. Looks v dated now and only 2 toilets in the away section holding 5000 people! wasnt pretty.

i have been fortunate to see matches in many a stadium in europe as well as japan and south africa. i've never been to south america, but would love to see a match in both la bombonera and the azteca.

however, the two best stadiums (and i've been to most of the major ones) i have ever watched a football match in are in the kashima soccer stadium in ibaraki, japan (kashima antlers' stadium) and the mestalla in valencia.
