Does this look genuine?

Just wondered what people think. I know these are rare and it doesn't have the Nike size info below the collar but that's worn away on some of my old shirts.

Thanks for any help :)

Thanks, they're lovely shirts. I saw one on eBay a while ago but I didn't go for it. Really regretting that now :)

I have got a similar one,the one worn when we won the league at Old Trafford. It has got the old badge on it and "sega" instead of "o2". It must be one of the last shirts done with the old badge on it.I vaguely remember Arsenal allowing some sort of swap deal so you could get the "o2" one.

Third kit 2002-2003? Looks like the pictures I've seen of the kit...

Not sure if Nike printed the labels in the shirts back then? They might have just had the size information attached via tag. My 05-06 away kit does have the printing, but it'd be best if you checked out kits of that era (ie 02-04 home) to see how Nike did it.

My brief investigation showed that 2002 era kits from Nike did have sizing information on the collar. There should still be some remnant/evidence that it was there if it ever was.

I'm pretty sure it's a fake :(
I found a picture of an original and it should also have the dri fit tag at the bottom.

I knew the shirts themselves existed, I have the sega one too and I saw an O2 one go for £80ish on eBay. I just wanted to found out if that particular one was real. Ah well, the search continues :)

Thanks for the replies guys

I think the team only wore that shirt once, against West Brom away around Christmas in 2002...seem to recall Francis Jeffers scoring for us in it

Yeah, I read that somewhere. I think they wore a longsleeved one as well for another match but that was it. Apparently a very limited number went on sale from the club shop, I don't remember that far back.

EDIT: They wore the longlseeved against Brom and the ss in the FA cup semi.

A genuine one

I'm now gonna use this to post my ramblings...
Just found another with the dri fit tag but no size info so maybe it does come off too easily and the dri fit tag is hidden on the first pic

I'm on eBay most of the time. If you have a shirt on there I don't have I can almost guarantee it'll go on my watchlist :D

I'm up to 60ish replicas now
