Robin Van Persie

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Anyone surprised? It was only a matter of time. We've had our annual 3 month stint from him...

Wenger just said they are "assessing" it. Let's not jump the gun. Although knowing him he will be fucked for the rest of the season... :(

Wouldn't be surprised, he's a fragile player and we've really been asking too much of him lately (even considering the Stoke game). Bendtner and Chamakh should be carrying more of the load.

We've seen the best and worst of Van Persie today.

The best being that he'll attempt to break a leg to get us back into a game in a world class fashion.

The worst being that he'll literally do it. 8)

If we all ***** into a pint glass and send that in for him to inject into the knee just like that horse crap the other year, I might just win £20 from DB10GOONER.

So gentlemen, peckers at the ready. 8)

No. They don't have that passion. Roger Johnson (what a name  ) spent the last 15 minutes limping around in pain yesterday. It would have taken a bulldozer to get him off that pitch. That is real hunger.

Most of our players don't have enough of that type or level of real hunger.

Grit. That's the word for it. Our players lack grit. :(

Was just about to post this, that is the desire Wenger tries to pretend we have.
