Have you ever cried when we lost?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Have you ever cried when we lost?

Post by goonersid »

A certain "hardnut"(don't make me laugh) has ridiculed someone for crying after an arsenal defeat.
Are any of you willing to admit that you wept like a baby when Arsenal have lost? and risk a kicking from a real hard bastard.
Well I am, I have on two occasions in my adult life cried when we have lost.
1. 1998/9 Prem lge final day loss
2. 2001 FA cup final.

Ive never cried after losing but came close after the 1991 Semi final but I cried after we beat United to win the league in 2002. My dad (a massive gooner) had passed away a year earlier, a month or so before we lost to liverpool in the Cup Final which hurt like mad as i thought that cup was for him, then to win the league and win it at old trafford i thought of him smiling down on us all........ Choked me up now thinking about it

UP THE GUNNERS :barscarf:

Sunday, my memory's crap so I can't go back any further than that. I cried when Eduardo and Ramsey got injured and I also remember crying because of something to do with Fabregas I think...

Luton 88 and Sp*rs 91 (I was 8 and 11)...

I also cried when we won the league in 1998, I was 18, my Dad died 4 years previously and we beat Everton on his birthday. I looked to the sunny sky when the ground was playing "We are the Champions" and welled up.

Paris 06 I didn't cry but that defeat really hurt,it took me a long time to get over it. I was convinced that was our year, my first child was born in Jan, I went to madrid and turin...it was made to happen...

The day after Paris, about halfway across the Channel, everything finally sunk in and I got proper teary eyed. Technically, I didn't cry, but it was a close to it as you can get.

That was sickening. I was too numb to cry. I was a massive fan of Seaman (I played in goal for the school in my Arsenal goalie top) and seeing him sitting there after that was shocking...and it had to be a y*d c*nt (sorry IHH, in this case it's justified  ) that did it...
