ARSENAL ONLINE TV

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I pay monthly but I can tell you that it is definitely worth the money. Match coverage is decent if you can't get to a telly/pub and the picture quality is as good as anything you'll be able to get on a computer screen. Also, the back catalogue of footage on there is awesome!

Before you subscribe, I should warn you. You don't actually get to watch the matches live, there is just a running commentary with still images. They only show friendlies live.

Still, with that said, they always have extended highlights of every game a few hours later.

I had a free subscription to it for one season. As Tony said, the back catalogue is fantastic, but that was about it. Now that there is youtube and virgin medias highlights website I don't see the needto pay £45 forthe arsenal tv

Back to the subject in hand - as it were: from Dec 1st Arsenal TV will be part of the Setanta package, so as I understand it you will get access to AFCTV in addition to the Squillion assorted games and other sports stuff on Setanta. This includes a fair few Premier League games - live - and Blue Square Premier League (ie the Conference!) for £9.99/month ie just under £120/year, but far better value if you can afford it. Also with Setanta it will be on the TV not the computer. Must check out that free football site though for Sat 3pm away games...

I reckon that you should buy the Setanta package if you live in ROI or England and you will have Arsenal tv in December as it is part of the package.
