region 1 advice

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

region 1 advice

Post by SammyDroppedHisShorts »

Bought a box set of the 90s tv hit Tour of Duty from Ebay. The seller stated that the set was region 2 and therefore playable on UK dvd players. However, when it arrived today i put it on to find that the box set was actually region 1.

Does anyone know how i can play them or ways in which i can buy an item to play it on?

Cheers

Whats the make and model of your DVD player? If you google the 'model number and region hack' often it willl have instructions on how to change your DVD player to multi region, often its something like eject the disc tray press right 3 times and up once press enter and it changed something like that pretty easy depending on your model

Move to Region 2.

I loved Tour of Duty too. The acting doesn't hold up when I watch it now and the very obvious non-Vietnam settings in alot of the latter episodes are obviously filmed in the US (think the earlier episodes were filmed in the Philipinnes), but still liked it. And the use of Paint It Black was inspired. 8)
