Aston Villa Banner
On SSN this morning they showed Villa stewards removing a banner in the Holte End,which was calling for their board/manager to be sacked.Do you think our stewards will react in the same way when our banners appear? I do.so maybe we should try to also come up with more "inventive" ideas to get our points across,as well as the tried and trusted methods.

Yes, and it's a joke. Free speech has always been a key component of support within a football ground & it seems it's now being completely eroded in order to make it appear that all the fans are following the official "party line" and that all is well & good.Rugby Gooner wrote:Do you think our stewards will react in the same way when our banners appear?
The fans are what makes the club, and whilst not all sections of support necessarily have to agree with the sentiment, if some supporters want to voice their displeasure with players or managers they should be fully allowed to do so.

What a shame for british football it is.
That's a point where italian, spanish and deutch football are better than english: they have some freedom to do what they want inside their stadiums. The fans voice must be heard, and no doubt that if our voice would be heard, we wouldn't be without trophiless for 6 years.

Yes, and while there are more banners saying "In Arsene we Trust", "Arsene knows" and "Real fans have patience", the more diluted any protest banners become....REBEL GOONER wrote:as long as the ground is full and a jolly old theres only one arsene wenger sung every game then those in charge wont give a fuck.

Really and truly the attitude of clubs towards the fans is an utter utter disgrace

If they wont listen to appeals via banners then we should be organising a protest during the matches instead - they can try and and remove banners but if we are committed to having our voice heard then we will do it at a time which will be more uncomfortable to the people running the club

what about just printing up a shit load of of flyers a few people smuggle em in then lob them in the air.
They'll float over the pitch ect then hopefully the tv cameras will zoom in on them getting the message across and there will be too many for the stuards to clear away without everybody seeing them and hopefully wont be too exspencive.

Someone needs to sneak down and remove that banner before the next game...and burn it!
That will get the media's attention, especially if its caught on sky cameras.
