Blackpool footy thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Blackpool footy thread

Post by Chippy »

Just realised there is no thread for this game! Nobody up for it? I'll be watching at 5.30 in the morning in Canada, expecting the worst. :(

Cant wait ....

We will create a few chances, blackpool will score with there first shot and we will equalize in the last 15 minutes and press hard in the last ten but blackpool will hold out. Finish 1-1.

Going to this, looking forward to the game.

Only passed v briefly through B'pool once about 15yrs ago so bit of a shame they moved the game from Saturday afternoon.

Sadly only one train gets in before kick off so it's just 40mins into B'pool before kick off and then out of there 1hr after the game.

I know we're struggling for goals at the moment but that's with teams that defend well.

Can see a ridiculously high scoreline in thus one, wonder what the odds are on 4-4 or 5-4, seeing as both teams are a bit dodgy on the old defence.

I'd advise people to start lumping money on Blackpool now if their into that sort of stuff.

I've seen them already at 7 - 1 and even 8-1 at one stage. Its crazy stuff considering the way were playing, its in Blackpool and they desperately need the points.

Tenner on Blackpool me thinks.

2-1 Blackpool. I don't remember ever being so uninterested in the final month of a season.

Couldn’t care less. The result is utterly irrelevant.

Another Canadian around these parts? :o

Hard to get excited based on the team's performance recently. I'd love to see Rambo and Wilshere thrown on to mix things up.

I'm confident we'll win, but not by the emphatic margin we should win by. And when I say confident, don't confuse that for convinced :p

We will inevitably fuck it up. If we have another game like this to be honest I won't go again till next year and start saving time and money and saving for aways next year. Might be a good idea to do some work for my exams, too
