Couldn't be worse than the usual shitty crosses from the sidebacks, lack of midfield bottle, sloppy defending and inability to score against teams like Blackburn..?

I mean no personal offense here, but that's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read on this forum - and that is saying something.

Sorry mate but I have to agree with Tony. As if we don't defend badly enough as it is, that line up would have us looking like a poorer version of Blackpool, with goals leaking in left, right and centre.

We need a defensive midfielder who makes crunching tackles, puts the fear of god into attacking opponents and does everything he can to make sure that ball doesn't get into the danger area.

Twinkle toed Aaron Ramsey isn't the answer.

Ramsey has talent but not sure he is cut out for defensive midfielder so soon after injury, maybe later in career.
