Never celebrate

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Never celebrate

Post by Irish Gooner »

Never celebrate a 4-0 halftime lead.

Never celebrate a 97th minute winner.

Never celebrate a 4-2 vs Spurs with 2 minutes left.

Never celebrate, not allowed. React with nonchalance.

Good point, I said to my brother in law, do you think Arsenal can add 2011 to the stadium as he is a Villa fan just to wind him up :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Oh well mate - it's not easy to support a bunch of bottling losers. Manager by a man that has totally lost the plot.

I cant comment because I wasnt there, but the commentators and other forums were giving our support a very big slating.

At the end of the day, the club price out fans and make the atmosphere more shit and the players and manager are bottlers.

Alot of the home "support" disgraced themselves today as they usually do...I was looking at the people around me today and no one really wanted to support the team.

Cut out all these crap about the home support whenever we lost or draw.
The home fans are not disgrace. Wenger is.

The shocking home support is beyond a joke

How many more points would we have won at home this season had we had our old school supporters in attendance?

Instead the club would rather 60,000 daytrippers sitting in silence as long as they spent their money in the armoury.

A false economy if you ask me.

You reap what you sow

Are you really blaming the fans for that shocking performance?

The fans fault that bendtner played on the wing?

The fans fault that we couldnt hold on to a lead with 1 minute left?

The fans fault that our idiot right back doesnt relise that a player is running away from goal and no need o ge so close?

I might use that excuse tomorrow at work when my boss moans at me ... "im doing a shit job because you aint singing a song about me or cheering me on"

What a load of bollocks!!!! :banghead: :banghead:

I was sitting behind the goal in the North Bank, I swear it was utterly dead in there, the only time the atmosphere ever got going was before the minutes silence and just after. Or after we scored, then once Eboue fucked up it was essentially calling him a C**t.

The only time anyone apart from Redaction made noise was every time we bottled a chance or kept trying to string together 32 passes outside the Liverpool box. Other then that is was just utterly quiet, and a few fans decided to slate the Liverpool bunch just because they actually sung up sometimes.

If players need the fans to make noise to actually perform then they are in the wrong profession. The c**** out on that pitch today do not have an ounce of winning mentality between them. Wenger took off the only guy who is a winner (Jack). The prick has filled our team with pampered pussies who couldn't win a raffle if they bought the only ticket.

I dont deny that sometimes the grove is very quiet but to use that as an excuse for absolute shit performances from the most overpaid wankers in world football is laughable
