MAGS WANTED LE BOSS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

1st point - Arsene didn't have any difficulties with Arsenal.

2nd point - Arsene wouldn't go Newcastle (it's too cold for him, did you see him in his blanket last night?...  )

3rd point - Yes Mike Ashley probably is a Gooner deep down (in truth most people are it's just they like to rebel)

Who knows if this is true but cant imagine Wenger managing in England if things hadnt been sorted out with the board. As for Newcastle fans thinking Allardyce has taken them back 50 years with his style of football what did they think was gonna happen when he became manager he is known for shite football!!!!! Look what happened at Bolton when Sammy Lee apparently tried to get them play a bit (with Allardyces players) it fell to pieces. Like the idea of this Ashley bloke being livid that someone suggested he was gonna buy spuds

I say this as someone with lots of family in and around Newcastle, but NUFC fans are mad. I don't like Allardyce football either but then my team hasn't failed to achieve what it should, year after year, decade after decade. They seem happier with fools like the senile and indulgent Bobby Robson, Kevin "One Defender" Keegan or Ossie "No Defenders" Ardiles in charge, and bugger the lack of success.

They haven't played particularly attractive football for years and they haven't won anything for longer. Given time and support, Allardyce might at least be able to get them doing one of those things.
