Reading v Arsenal | Mon 12 Nov 07 | 8pm Set 1

Post by All_Arsenal_1886 »

We are through to the knock-out stages of the Champions league having won 3 games and drawing 1, scoring 11 goals and conceding 0.

We have drawn our last 2 Premiership games away to Liverpool and at home to Man Utd meaning we still sit top of the league.

So having overcome our big tests of Liverpool and Man Utd whats your thoughts and Predictions for the Reading game?...

Reading are one of those sides that wont kick us up in the air, play dirty, but also should be too wise to try and play football agianst us after last year..
I dont think they'll know what to do with us and this is a game I can see us winning. 2-0 to the Arsenal for me..

as edge just said,, reading are not a bolton type of team which should benefit us,, the team should be well rested and in fairness if we have any thoughts of winning the title this season then reading away is a must 3 points,, if we score first and early then i think it could be a comfortable game,, just hope im right

good point about last season but cant really go on that but the main point is there not a bunch of kickers which will do for us and make it a good game

I see a comfortable win maybe 3-0. Cesc. the Flamster and Helb should be refreshed after their midweek break

Must admit, 5-0 away from home, after creating 1 chance in 90 mins midweek is a bit optimistic, but with the big boys rested and ready to go you never know...

How many did Portsmouth score against this lot? was it 8? we are Arsenal not Portsmouth so 5-0 is being generous to Reading if anything!

Also on the subject of Reading playing fair! please Remember Stephen 'Berkshire' Hunt is in there !! and he was rank filth last season home and away

One2Smooth your saying about Portsmouth 7 Reading 4 game but that was a one off, what about talking about Man Utd 0 Reading 0 thats one of the reasons it most probably be 5-0. Im not saying it can't but 2-0/3-0 is more plusable

I hope we get a big scoreline to boost the confidence after 3 draws on the trot.

Will be great to have a refreshed midfield but its not as if Reading have played a midweek game so no real advantage there, although Fabregas has said time and time before he hates not playing and so will be itching to get out there and make things happen.

I'd like to see a 3-0 with Adebayor opening the scoring, he definately needs a goal, depending on who scores first, I suspect 3-1, can see Kitson being a nuisance in the air
