Bit of pre match, week ahead perspective. After the Ramsey incident I fuckin' hated those oatcake, northern, Delap thow-in, Delilah, Shawcross and Pulis luvvin c**ts. A pox on their house.

But...

Which set of fans is going to be happier with their season, irrespective of the outcome of our game at the Brittania or the FA Cup final, us or the Stoketards?

Which manager, Pulis or Wenger, has made the most of the talent and resources available to them?

Which manager has focussed on winning as many points as he can and which manager has focussed on philosophical dogma?

Which club has the most sustainable business model? (Honours even perhaps?)

But at least we've got the Champions League to look forward to: humping the lights out of AZ Alkmaar, Olympiakos, Porto, FC Copenhagen, Besiktas and Grasshoppers, at full price on an alcohol free Tues/Weds nights before being butt-fucked by one of the proper teams: Barca, Real , Mancs, Chavs, Bayern, Inter, Milan etc. in the knockout rounds

I guess, with this observation, I am castigating Wenger on two levels:

1. He has delivered a season less palatable to Arsenal fans than that deliered by Pulis to the Stoketards, and

2. The dogma of AW's football philosophy will come up short, certainly against the arch pragmatist, Sir Alex, but even when compared to those just making the best of what they've got, Pulis, Coyle, Moyes etc.

Pulis to succeed Wenger....

Would Pulis do better with our resources than Wenger? Serious question.

Yes, Wenger sucks, but then we knew that already.

Is this really an appreciation thread for Tony Pulis and Stoke.

No matter what's wrong with AW, TP and that club are everything I hate about English football.

Don't give me all that crap about passion and fighting for one another bollocks.
They may have gotten themselves 2 wingers now but their game when the chips are down, boils down to some prick throwing the ball from miles and the big boys jumping all over the defenders and keeper.

When that fails, it's maim the other team's star player time.

F**k Stoke, hope Tevez is fit and Shitty humiliate them in the final.

If he takes over, I for one will stay away from the Grove till he leaves.

Pulis would never cope at a club like ours, way to big for him.

don't like the geezer one bit but i've got to say he aint no mug .with little or no money he has assembled won of the most difficult to beat sides in the prem.he gets performances week in week out (unlike wenger).as for his style of play the cycle is turning and the likes of one trick ponies ala delap ,shawcross etc are again becoming valuable and desirable.please don't come on here slagging off thier tactics,at least they've got some ,and long throws always were a legitamate ploy look in the books kiddies ,daddy will tell you all about hutchinson and radford.the sooner we engender a milwall "no one likes us we do'nt care "backs to the wall dunkirk spirit the better, this laughing stock persona just dont work.

Everything about Stoke, from their manager, team, fans and even their name is shit and horrible.

I saw quite a bit of Gillingham when he was there. They had a team of thuggish six-footers who beat the crap out of other teams (so nothing has changed). Successful and many fans were happy with that but watching the ball being hoofed up the pitch and a wrestling match when it finally lands is not for me. I don't like his style and I don't think he's up to the job.

Stoke fans are happy because their expectations are low.

We're unhappy because our expectations are much higher (and rightfully so).

I'm no longer an AW fan but I've no idea who we could get to replace him.
I do know it's not Pulis though.

I don't quite understand where this idea that Pulis gets performances out of his players week in week out stems from.

Away from home their form is nothing short of woeful.

but he does inspire performances from lower grade players you cant possibly argue against it .he has sustained prem status for 4 years and reached an fa cup final.his team improve year onyear and others for whatever reason dont like playing them.thats more possitives for stoke than i can think of for arsenal at this precise moment

Would Pulis do better with our resources than Wenger?
No, because none of our players can throw the ball further than about 10 yards
No, because none of our defenders get near the attacker, let alone break their legs!!
