As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Napoli have some fucking militant fans. My mate lives out in Italy and he follows Salernitana. Their local rivals are Napoli and the derbies are something else, he says.

and tony may even agree with me for a change!!!!
Let's not get carried away
No, Enfield is a complete hole and it is full of absolute *word censored*. I would much rather go for a night out in Islington, and in fact, I do quite often!
With this rate of Hooliganism in Italy I wonder if they will be banned from Europe for five years?
Oh no sorry I forgot they're not English are they.
In fact I wonder, considering that Juve ultras were very prominent in what lead to the events at Heysel, if nineteen English fans had been killed that night instead of Italians they might have been forced to tackle their problems like we were.
makes no difference to uefa,, they would never fcuk them out,,
england was bad when i started goin to matches in the late 80;s but it is so different now and i mean in a good way,, italy has some catching up to do

My friends dad lives in Ischia which is a lovely little island off of Naples and he asked me if I would like to go to a Serie A match so off course I jumped at the chance! Now Napoli are back in Serie A I get the chance. Worse than Hackney Rebel ! Quality
The big problem with Italian clubs is a lot of them have chairmen and board members that are tied into political groups and their ultra hooligan fans are members of those groups, so the ultras actually have quite a lot of power within clubs; in some cases bringing chairmen down, getting players sold and getting managers sacked.
Also, the level of corruption in the Italian game (financial and political) is frightening so it is nearly impossible to get anything done.
Their clubs should have been banned a long time ago.
As far as the banning of English clubs after Heysel, that was partly a politically motivated move, to end the perceived English dominance of the European Club competitions.
Give them all guns and let them finish one another off once and for all UEFA wont do anything as Italy are World Champions and AC Champions of Europe UEFA bosses scared of waking up next to horses heads
