As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
any one think that maybe he wont make it at arsenal, i know it takes a while to settle but the man gets a lot of injuries which considering he doesnt play that often is a bit of a worry
prob just me and after xmas he'l go mad and get 20 league goals
It does seem weird that one week he's in the squad, next week he's out...
He's already shown that he can score goals, but Wenger obviously is keeping him away from the Premiership...
Adebayor's just gone 8 games without scoring and Edu got 2 starts in that time (carling cup and Prague away), which is telling really..
Really want the boy to make it and he's got goals in him, and maybe we just need to give him more time, but cant see him getting many more minutes once RvP recovers.
yeah, I wouldn't doubt that, but I'm thinking surely you get PL experience by playing in games, the pressure and the intensity are things you can only learn by being there..
For me, Bendtner looks closer to the 1st team that Edu at the moment..
Its kind of worrying me at the moment that he has not being given a chance in the Premier League so far.Its a settling in period for Eduardo at this moment and what i have seen of him so far he looks a very good player. He is better than Julio Baptisa i think.
Well i have spoken to alot of Arsenal supporters about Eduardo and they are confident that he will make it at Arsenal. We just have to hope and pray that he will.
My god Eddy has only been here 4 months and already the vultures are out! sometimes I think people would rather a player fail rather than succeed! Its a given rule a foriegn player needs a year to settle in. How many people had doubts about Flamini and Hleb before this season? now be honest . give the guy a chance fellas

I would have thought he is conditioned by now isnt he? he has been with us for 3-4 months.
I do think it is strange he doesnt get a look in but i hope its just another AW master stroke and when he is unleashed he will be unstoppable
AW has said of many players he has signed that they were not only unfit but carrying injuries, strains and long term previously undiagnosed weak areas in their physiology, which as you know he is a stickler for and he will not play them until they are 100% - much the same as Theo, AW will not use a player for a certain amount of games until he thinks his body can take it!
I previously stated my belief that Eduardo would be a huge player for us even though he is not a player granted or blessed with a lot of pace. But I would have thought that Monday nights game against Reading would have been ideal for him as it was all played just outside their box.
A player with a quick turn and a lethal left peg could have capitalised upon such a situation
