anti-wenger protest at fulham?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

anti-wenger protest at fulham?

Post by gooner.ed »

i've been asked by some gooners if there is anything formally organised for fulham by way of a protest against the manager. i've heard talk of banners inside the cottage. is that what this is about? along presumably with a bit of chanting. if there is any more to it and specifically anything being done outside the stadium, please let me know so i can pass the info on. ta.

just had an idea. how about a version of 'beat it' performed in front of the michael jackson statue? or a banner - wenger: beat it! would probably go over his head!

First I've heard of it :?

Nothing on the 'She Wore' facebook page, I sadly won't be there but I will fully support this as the Fulham stewards won't take the banners down (the AKB stasi may object though (*word censored* :banghead:)) and this is, in my opinion, a very good time to show our dissatisfaction at Wenger.

Have also heard about this but I'll be f**king amazed if anything major gets off the ground. There's just too many "head in the sand" merchants to carry this out.

Having said that, I reeeeeeally hope it happens cos we can't let AW go into yet another summer thinking he can bend us over and shaft us royally whenever he pleases.

Wish I had a ticket cos I'd deffo get involved!!!!

There was something planned by a group called Wenger Out. There was a facebook page run by a guy called Tony Holman

Not sure if its going ahead but there was loads saying they were attending and safe to say a rather tasty looking crowd wanting to go to show there support.

Was dated for the day of the match but I haven’t heard anything since.

I just checked the shewore page, nothing so far.

P.S, I've seen it written on here over a million times but, what is an AKB?

To the tune of Arshavin's song...

They're taking the piss, they're taking the piss,
6% increase, they're taking the piss.

Simple but makes the point loud and clear again methinks :barscarf:

I'd like something more directed at AW

How about this little ditty plucked from the Stoke forum...

Fuck off and die,
Fuck off and die,
Arsene Wenger,
Fuck off and die.

 Bit extreme I think...

Something on the lines of 'Evra you're a c**t'

Wenger, spend the cash! Wenger Wenger, spend the cash!

Or

We want old Arsene back, we want old Arsene back.

Or if that fails

Sack Arsene Wenger, just sack Arsene Wenger!

Seeing as the club seem to love "the wonder of you" so much we could adapt the song to suit the mood (not sure it will quite catch on, especially the last two lines all you miserable bastards :D )

When no-one else would sign Koscielny
There’s no cover for Alex Song
You give me lots of poor excuses
And transfer windows that drag on

And you’re always there to spend five grand
On someone from Ligue Deux
That’s the wonder.....the wonder of you

And when you leave the future’s brighter
Cos when you’re here we win nothing,
To Ivan G, you’re worth a fortune
With all the bullshit that you spin

I’ll guess I’ll never know the reason why
Some love you like they do
But all I will say..
..is thanks for Abou
