As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
One extreme to the other in my opinion. There's a difference between winning nothing for a year & what's happening with Arsene. Typical of the modern day game I guess, no patience, wanting immediate results etc...
I'm not in favour of sacking a manager after one 'bad' season at all but on the other hand, Abramovich wants to stop the rot and has ambition to get Chelsea back to winning things. What a contrast to Arsenal Football Club, where the only ambition is to turn a profit? Any other manager would be knocking at the Chairmans door saying he needs funds to get the team back to winning trophies. Not Wenger, he sees his role as chief finance officer as well as everything else at the club.
