Eduardo...

Post by Dan_85 »

Scored in tonight's Ukrainian Cup Final ( http://youtu.be/sF_0EV1hW3s ) & was then sent off in a replica of RvP at Camp Nou ( http://youtu.be/mkbGIBZOVKQ ) :barscarf:

Still think we shoulda loaned him out for a year to get his confidence back...

As much as I would of liked to of kept Eduardo or sent him on loan it was best for him to leave England all together. He had limited movement in his ankle as well which of course would restrict anyone. Plus he always panicked infront of goal when he came back to Prem Football, he was scared so the move was best for him.

I had my doubts, but I for one felt he was worth keeping.

Shit like Vela and Bendtner were given the go ahead. Another bad mistake.

He's thriving in a team with 1. little pressure and 2. much weaker opposition.

Honestly, besides Shaktar and Dynamo Kiev, who's going to mount much of a challenge in the region?

He never looked like he'd be lethal again in the Premiership and I still think letting him go was the right move for both Eduardo and Arsenal.

I think he had the talent to play for us in the right system but mentally, I'm not entirely sure even a year loan then return would have been right for him. He simply looked terrified when given a scoring chance after his return for us.

He looked awesome before the injury and the penalty v Celtic bollocks, and I also was hoping that a loan period would have sorted him out.

We'll never know though, but it did seem a strange decision, especially when we kept complete and utter trash.

For exactly the same reason as RvP. Second yellow for deliberately kicking the ball away. By the book it's a yellow. If he's already got a yellow, then it's a red.

Harsh, but they are the Rules.

never the same after the birmingham incident

saw him play and he looked fucking slow and well off the pace - shame could of been a good goal poacher for us and also had some great skill

good luck to the lad and glad he is playing again
