Anybody leaving i Jan?

Post by JakeN13 »

We have a massive squad at the moment, we got plenty of quality players that can't get a look in and even gonna find it hard to get games later in the season. Either players are gonna get unhappy or Wenger will have to start acting like Rafa Benitez. What do you think? Personally I can see two or three players go. The obvious one would be Hoyte, maybe Song as well. Perhaps Denilson might be sent out on loan as it seems he's got 5 players ahead of him in his position?

The most likely candidates are Bert and Jens. I actually think Bert will get in the team before long, because as much as I love the Flanimal, I think Bert's class will prove very important soon. As for Jens, well, who knows?

As for Denilson going out on loan; I doubt it. Could be a decent idea though. I'd hope that he'd stay in England, though (obviously with a clause in his contract saying he can't play against the Arse!).

I think that's about it. Personally, If it wasn't for the ACN in Jan, I'd like to see Hoyters go out on loan as I think he's a very promising player.

I still have no idea what I'd do with Diaby. Is he a defensive midfielder? Attacking midfielder? Striker? Goalkeeper? Who knows? Maybe he'd benefit from a loan spell.

I'm getting all Championship Manager now, so I'll stop!

I agree, the squad's not deep enough to have players leaving in January.

Gilberto will be needed till the end of the season, since he provides vital cover at CB as well as being one of our zillion CMs.

Lehmann is still the best keeper at the club - I doubt we can get a sufficiently good replacement mid-season (who isn't also Euro cup-tied), so we should keep him too. But AW may have little choice but to sell him if it seems Lehmann might refuse to fight for his place, be a sub keeper etc. The only replacements I can think of who might be gettable and come close to being good enough would be Given and Carson, but even they are not of the quality I would want. And no, Jaskeleinen and Green aren't good enough.

Denilson out on loan would be ok, though he's the natural understudy to Cesc, so we'd be weaker if Cesc got an injury.

Hoyte (J) just isn't good enough, and probably needs to go elsewhere to develop. So I could accept him going.

I would have been very happy to see Song go until he played that great CB game vs Newcastle. I say we keep him now.

3 rightbacks, plus Diarra.

3 Central defenders, plus 2 midefielders that can cover and one very promisng yougsters probably coming back in Jan.

2 Leftbacks.

More cm's than I can count.

5 Strikers if you include Theo.

We also got 4 or 5 players that can play on the wing, wheter we think they should be there or not is another matter. I definitely think we got a bigger squad than ever. 8)

I think out goings will be 1 player sold, 1 player put out on loan,
and in comings 2 brought in and 1 play recalled from a loan spell

yes full backs and centre midfielders,,, no wingers and boys as forwards

why not count the reserve and youth team and then we hav a huge squad,,
only place where we are well served is full back and centre midfield :?

Well according to the inderpendant, Abou Diaby is on his way out of the Arsenal. But not in january, apparently he's goin in Summer.

I cant see why he would tho, & i hope its not true, i like him.

Well, like it or not but players like Theo & Bendtner are apart of the squad. If you don't want them to be that's a diffrent thing

Two goalkeepers in the squad, one of limited ability, the other lacking experience? I don't think so.
