Henry To Come Back????

He Doesnt seem too be all that happy at Barca!! But would you like to see him back at The Arsenal?? Has his best days gone?? Obviously a world class player but we are doing better since he left.....

we have moved on..
a true gooner legend and im honoured to have seen him play in an arsenal shirt and in time he prob will go down as maybe the greatest ever arsenal player,, but anyone look at the difference in team spirit since he left will hav noticed we are more of a team now

so for me its thanks but no thanks

No way.
I know Henry's a World Class player, but i think that we have become more of a team now.
While Thierry was here it was more about trusting indivual performances to win us games and the players always looked to him for goals.
Now he's gone players have more freedom and now we can get goals from anyone on the pitch.

good points,, look at cesc and hleb this season,, and both now scoring goals

while last year they would hav passed to th14 and hope he would do something special

Umm, didnt relise he was unhappy at Barca tho.
I dont know if id like us to play barca in the champs league or not. I dont know how i'd feel to see him playing against us.
i spose it would be very similar to when patty V played against us a couple of seasons back.

Agree with rebel and thatgooner - TH and Dennis were the best I've ever seen play for Arsenal, and TH is one of the best there has been, but he's not for us anymore.

Anyway, I wonder what he will be able to do in a year/18 months. His pace was already on the wane before he went, and I doubt he could cope with English football week in week out anymore.

But I really hope he never plays against us - I couldn't cope with seeing him score against us!

I'd love us to draw Barca in champions league!!

Surprised everyone else is so against him playing against us! Was great to see Paddy come back to highbury, and i think it would be an equally great occasion if henry came back to the grove!!

I don't know about other people, but for me it doesn't matter one way or the other whether an ex-Arsenal player comes back to play against us or not. It was interesting to see PV play at Highbury but I was much more concerned with us getting the result. Wouldn't want an ex-Arsenal player turning up and stealing the show!

In fact, for Henry to score the winning goal against us for Barcelona would be the most horrible irony, given the chances he missed in the Final.

Disagree with you for a change Rebel - Henry will go down as the greatest goalscorer in the clubs history but there is no way he will/should go down as the best player ever to play for the club. Chippy Brady & DB10 were in a different class to th and that is no insult to henry. Anyway I do not believe for 1 minute that he wants to come back & I would not take him back but I would be a lot happier if we bought someone like anelka to fill his spot

Dont know would i like to see Henry back at Arsenal.I mean dont get me wrong the guy is an Arsenal legend and it was a joy to see him play in Arsenal colours for 8 years.But life goes on without him.

I wouldn't have said I'd want to completely close the door, perhaps now having seen how well we have done without him he would come back a little more humble and the rest of the team wouldn't give a crap if they didn't pass to him or didn't pass well enough.

If he could come back with a team player attitude then I wouldnt mind him in the squad at all

Henry can come back if playing in goal or if he mysteriously becomes 19 again......otherwise no chance. Get over the fantasy lads.

If he suddenley came back to his best then of course i wouldn't mind haveing him but he was a drag to some players like Jose & his wages just encouraged others to become more greedy (cough Ashley)
We have moved on now & somebody is out there to replace Thierry just like Cesc with Paddy, we've been lucky without him as we haven't lost & broken a record
We have more chance of the Beast coming back then TH

though i wouldn't mind him coming back either
