Makes me laugh how many of the rosetinters here have turned on Cesc, last season and before he was everything in this Wenger side - now we dont need him anymore and he is over-rated on par with Steve Williams and best sold

This isnt a dig at you Sid just the likes of piresistible, Wozza and the other clowns

Absolutely and what's more to the point, I still think we need him and don't consider him overrated in the slightest, my point is he won't leave a legacy if he goes in the summer, merely a few good memories which will fade quickly over the years.

He will be remembered as the poster boy of Project Youth and a top player at a time when the club is going backwards, if you had to pick your best Arsenal 11 from the last 15 years he would not be in it.

Great player, crap captain, about as legendary as van Nistelrooy is at United which is not very but not as legendary as Bobby Charlton is.

To be honest, the Swalettes never seemed like massive fans of Fabregas. Always found it a bit ironic that Barry B, Song, Eboue etc could do no wrong but they had no problem criticising Cesc.

The guy is a legend that was just unfortunate to get stuck playing with some of most useless dickhead *word censored* (diaby, almunia, bendtner, denilson etc) in the clubs history

As a result of that he will never win the medals needed to prove his legendary status to the doubters on here
