Away credits required?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Post by benlaimwolf »

Hi,

I'm a new season ticket holder inheriting only a few away credits. I was hoping you guys could could share your knowledge of how many away credits you needed (or expect to need this year) for each fixture last season.

I'm sure others will find the info useful too, thanks.

Aston Villa

Blackburn

Bolton

Chelsea

Everton

Fulham

Liverpool

Man City

Man Utd

Newcastle

Norwich

QPR

Stoke

Sunderland

Swansea

Tottenham

Wolverhampton

Rough guide: depending on time of game etc.

Aston Villa - 10/15 I guess

Blackburn - 0

Bolton - silver/0

Chelsea - 20/25 (hardest game of the season to get tickets for, like rocking horse shit these)

Everton - 5/10

Fulham - 15/20

Liverpool - 15

Man City - 15

Man Utd - 15/20

Newcastle - silver/0

Norwich - 20/25 (new ground n all)

QPR - 15 (bear with me, it's 63 pounds a fucking ticket)

Stoke - 5/10

Sunderland - silver/0

Swansea - 20 (we only get 2k and it's new)

Tottenham - 20/25 (but easier than Chelsea to find spares)

Wolverhampton - 5/10

And seeing as you forgot WBA - 5/10

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I thought it would be better than starting a new one.

Has anyone received travel club renewal forms yet? I haven't got mine and couldn't find anything on .com about it

All away (and home) games are of equal importance. Some, actually most of the "really shit" games away from home in recent years have been brilliant in terms of atmosphere & excitement.

Away days with the Arsenal, regardless of the quality of the opposition, are always memorable and worth attending if you can afford to :barscarf:

You have to put the hard graft in to get upto the big games. Fortunately I went to uni in Leeds so was able to beef my credits up quickly with lots of northern away days. Once you get up to 20 it's very easy to stay there.

Of course how well the team are doing does have a bearing on how popular the games are.
