why is that waste of money bent called up ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

because McClown is a Berkshire! Walcott could score 6 goals for the under 21s and he wouldnt even blink!
Darren Bent has done nothing to be included! what about Gabby Abouaverylongname from Villa?

Why he was ever appointed I will never know. He barley even knows the players names.

what about Gabby Abouaverylongname from Villa?
injured against Bulgaria.

Bent is a decent player, quick and gets goals, not Arsenal quality or £16 million worth but he is a decent call up. Walcott wouldn't have been a bad one if you ignore having started up front once this season, twice now due to U21 game with Portugal were he played the lone striker, probably better for Walcott he played for U21's the day before.

plus would have given the media another chance to slate Theo if his perfomance had been anything other than bringing us back from 5-0 down by scoring 6.
