I still see Highbury’s North Bank Stand even though... 19/11

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I still see Highbury’s North Bank Stand even though... 19/11

Usual thread starter… Have you fully moved on from Highbury yet? Does the passing of time make it less vivid in your mind’s eye? I am not sure my memories will ever fade. When you go to a place that many times, it kind of becomes imprinted on the brain! Do you go out of your way to walk past the East Stand anymore? Does that burger van there do a decent trade?!

since thof was knocked down there hasnt been a game i've gone to that hasnt included the walk up thomas rd ( from the pins ) and a peek inside at the new yuppie palace thats been built,, but no matter what memories i have and there is plenty from my first game , my first time in the north bank ,, games won and lost etc , but then you get to the top of the hill and the grove just looks so amazing with the big arsenal crests and the bridge with the ARSENAL spelt out,,
we know the grove isnt perfect and neither was highbury but still sad to see it now

but time stands still for no man and now its time for ashburton to start with the memories

Loved reading the article, a kindred spirit. I can't walk past the old place without feeling the memories and emotions flooding back.
