Admit to something unpopular
With all the collective doom and gloom amongst our lot just now i'm sure some of us believe in something that differs to the general hate consensus on here right now.
I will be first to admit:
"I think Diaby is talented and i would like to see him stay."
Anyone braver than me?

Correct.QuartzGooner wrote:I think Walcott could be a very useful player for us if played as a forward instead of a winger, so his pace can leave the defence standing and he scores such as his goals vs Barcelona and Spurs.
But I fear he's lost that instinct in the box that he used to have as a youngster. Wenger has ruined the career of a potentially new Michael Owen by playing him out of position for so long and coaching that 'nose' for the goal out of him.

Aaah that would sound so good if he didn't have the most prolific goal scoring season of his Arsenal career.1989 wrote:Correct.QuartzGooner wrote:I think Walcott could be a very useful player for us if played as a forward instead of a winger, so his pace can leave the defence standing and he scores such as his goals vs Barcelona and Spurs.

And also if almost every time he got through one on one he didn't finish in an utterly devestsating fashion.
He's still got it. It never left him.
I myself suffered a similar fate last weekend in the Dads Vs Coaches match.
Somehow someway my toes came alive even though my last match was Online Gooner Vs Sunderland Boys and by some kind of magic the passes were there, the tackles, the headers.
Oh it felt, sssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeexxxxxxxxxxxxxyyyyyyyyy.
