Admit to something unpopular

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Admit to something unpopular

Post by goonermarc »

With all the collective doom and gloom amongst our lot just now i'm sure some of us believe in something that differs to the general hate consensus on here right now.

I will be first to admit:

"I think Diaby is talented and i would like to see him stay."

Anyone braver than me?

I think Walcott could be a very useful player for us if played as a forward instead of a winger, so his pace can leave the defence standing and he scores such as his goals vs Barcelona and Spurs.

Correct.

But I fear he's lost that instinct in the box that he used to have as a youngster. Wenger has ruined the career of a potentially new Michael Owen by playing him out of position for so long and coaching that 'nose' for the goal out of him. :(

Vermaelen is not as good as almost everyone likes to think.

Eh Steveo?

Does this confession have to be Arsenal related?

If not I would like to state that I would love a threesome involving Amy Winehouse and Adele.

Aaah that would sound so good if he didn't have the most prolific goal scoring season of his Arsenal career.

And also if almost every time he got through one on one he didn't finish in an utterly devestsating fashion.

He's still got it. It never left him.

I myself suffered a similar fate last weekend in the Dads Vs Coaches match.

Somehow someway my toes came alive even though my last match was Online Gooner Vs Sunderland Boys and by some kind of magic the passes were there, the tackles, the headers.

Oh it felt, sssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeexxxxxxxxxxxxxyyyyyyyyy.

I like Club Level

No, in all seriousness, mine would be that I find myself not really hating Chelsea that much any more.

I wouldn't worry, that's what happens when you're not really rivals any more.

Upside?

The Tottenham shit is gonna go through the roof! :high5:
