The news we all wanted to hear

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The news we all wanted to hear

Post by 1989 »

ESPN reporting that Denilshite has agreed to move to Sao Paulo (on a loan deal though unfortunately).

Pay your tributes here to one of the most pathetic players to ever don the red and white of Arsenal.

augie don't ruin the thread! Let's put the Wenger shite aside and celebrate this wonderful moment in the club's history.

This *word censored* leaving is as good as a new signing. :D

Thank you Sao Paulo, but wish you didn't sell him to us in the first place!

Ok if we are leaving wenger out of this conversation then I will admit that there are a few that I would want to sell ahead of denilson (diaby, bendtner, almunia, eboue, rosicky and last but not least squillachi) although I do agree that denilson needs to go as well

Why are we letting him go? We haven't finished turning him into a world class player yet

Can't believe we're letting him go . He's a winner and we need more like him.

But we are on the verge of something special. We came so close last year and the year before that and the year before that.

By allowing Denilson to go out on loan, isn't Wenger worried about 'killing his Arsenal career'? :?

The real pity is that Wenger didn't come to this conclusion two or three years ago like most of us did. :banghead: :banghead:

We all know Wenger is a wanker mate but let's just enjoy some good news for once we've been starved of them lately. :(

So he wasnt up to the high standards we expect from an Arsenal player...but i dont think we should slag him off too much...after all he did score some cracking goals....and i liked him, nice kid..met him once or twice and he was polite and pleasant.

Well said...I always have trouble with going too far is slagging players too. He was woefully inadequate but I can't hate him because of that. Hope he does well for himself and his club there. Especially since then we won't have to see him perform inadequately here then. Good luck to the lad.
