England, Who needs 'em?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

England, Who needs 'em?

Post by U.F.G Anfield '89 »

Having seen the first half display i can honestly say that i am not a bit shocked, England have no class and no commitment, Most of our fans are yobs so lacking in respect that they boo through the national anthem of the opposing side, and worst of all they attack my club, THEY DARE TO MAKE MY BELOVED ARSENAL A SCAPEGOAT FOR THEIR FAILURES. If 90% of Arsenal fans were ignorant yobs, if the fanzines spent all their time printing xenophobic bullshit and if the team played shit football and couldn't be bothered to be there i would find it very difficult to keep supporting them, when a national team commits every one of these infractions it deserves to be deserted.

This is why i am now saying enough is enough! what some of you may not know is that my grandmother is welsh, if i'm elligible to play for them then then I'm damn well elligible to support them. Yes that's right Wales, they may not have as much tallent as en-ger-lund but at least they play with some pride. Think of all the advantages of supporting a team other than england (something our Irish brothers already have the privilege of doing), when some spud crunt is going on about how we don't have any english players now i can say, "why would i care, i support Wales", add to that the fact you don't see constant articles slating Arsenal in Y Cymro, and best of all this beauty, it's basically an Arsenal shirt with a different badge, I want one! Image

Even if England win or draw tonight, even if they win every world cup and european cup from now until the end of time then i wish them all the best, but i won't be emotionally involved with them any more, I'm a Wales fan now!

Actually that sheep doesn't play for Wales anymore because of a longstanding argument with John Toshack :)

Good on you, U.F.G Anfield '89 :)

At least Wales have only one Spud in their squad and he is better than all of England’s Spuds taken together: Jenas, Bent, Defoe, Robinson, Dawson

Another positive: Gareth Bale is actually a Gooner (before joining Spurs, he said it) :D

BeJaysus, welcome to the clan, mate! 8)

Unfortunately you have picked a dodgy time to cheer us on as we are even more sh*t than England!!! :?

Robbie "25 flicks-no end product" Keane is our Captain for the love of God...

Maybe we should all follow our Welsh brother UFG and start cheering on Wales!

Unless the Japanese kill them all first! :P Sorry, couldn't resist that one!!

England? an embarrassing shower of long ball cloggers. Our only tactic seemed to be lamping it in the general direction of the scouse freak. Croatia are'nt the best team in the world but they looked technically sound, played to a tactically sound system (no jokes about sound systems please  ) and looked dangerous every time they ran at our inept defenders. We'd have murdered England last night, can you imagine the fun Cesc and co would have had running rings around that lot? And of course, if they bring in quotas and we're forced to play four or five mediocre Englishmen it'll make the England national team world beaters won't it

You'll probably blame Cardiff City for having too many foreigners, they only have five Welsh players in their first team squad :!:

Roll on the quotas
