Champions League Draw
Not long now until we find out if we have to face a really difficult opponent like Rubin Kazan or Udinese or whether we get a slightly easier tie against Odense, FC Zurich or FC Twente.
Rubin Kazan are the team to avoid as not qualifying for the gravy train (sorry Champions League) would be a spectacular failure, considering the effort (or lack of effort) required to finish 4th last season after sliding from an almost nailed on 2nd place.
Even though old tight wad still refuses to bring in any top class defenders, we should be good enough to get through this Play Off round - - - - - shouldn't we?????
Lets all get ready to sing "Thursday Night - Channel 5" etc. etc. etc.

Its not so much wanting the club to fail; it's more a case of wanting to see change for the longer good.Jumpers For Goalposts wrote:Have to say I agree with your sentiments SteveO - but I can't get my head around wanting Arsenal (Arsene really) to be given a massive reality check.
Never, ever thought I'd feel like this.
I'm not saying I'll be sitting there cheering for the opposition and I'll be the most miserable bastard in town if we go out.....but I have started to think it's the only way Project Wenger will come under pressure from above.
If we get through, then go straight into an easy group as top seeds we're nailed on for last 16.....the income stays the same, the acceptance of the loser culture continues and Kroenke and Gazidis remain happy.
