Arsenal get something right

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal get something right

Post by StuartL »

For the first time in years my daughter recieved her Junior Gunner membership pack before the start of the season - usually it arrives in late September or even October.

Well done Arsenal :barscarf:

btw - any chance of my membership pack arriving soon seeing as I did pay the extortionate price increase purely for the opportunity to buy tickets at our soon to be half empty stadium.

Avoidance of a monumental fuck-up is now worthy of a 'Well Played Arsenal' thread.

It can't be easy for Wenger.

First he's got to over-see the catering, then make sure all products in the shop are priced correctly and displayed properly in the shelves.

Of course he's also the man in charge of stock-taking and ordering, plus he personally cleans the toilets and stairs as well.

He's first there every morning, opening up the shop and then checking the pitch and, if my info is correct, he also checks every one of the seats at the Emirates individually for wear and tear.

He's the last person out in the evening as well, checking that all the lights are switched off and the doors are all locked.

Give him a break, he's doing his best.

P.S. I've heard that in his personal schedule he has also left a window open for all the transfer dealings to be concluded, so have no fear.

There is a 5 hour 'transfers - ins and outs' pencilled in for August 31st, from 1PM to 6PM.
