WHAT PLAYERS DO YOU REALLY NOT GET?

WHAT PLAYERS DO YOU REALLY NOT GET?

Post by Percy Dalton »

Aside from Arasenal players, what others do you watch and wonder what all the fuss is all about?

Someone who is an international, playing for a big side and getting shed loads of dough but always seems to produce fuck all.

James Milner is a mystery to me. What does he do so well to warrant being an England international and play for Man City after they paid a huge transfer fee?

Am I missing something about him?

:?

ibrahimovic. don't get me wrong i've seen plenty of clips of him doing brilliant things... but whenever i've actually watched a game he's played in, he's been utter toilet! maybe i'm just a curse on him

There are a few for me.

Gareth Barry - what does this guy actually do? Can't pass, can't shoot, can't tackle, not quick, not good in the air. He looked alright at Villa, he's been caught out whenever he's played at a higher level, despite everyone raving about him.

Robinho - Sure he can produce the odd moment of magic but lets be honest, he's actually not good at all and certainly didn't merit his price tag when he went to Citeh.

Based on price tag - Andy Carroll and Torres - would you pay £85-90m for those two?

He was good at Villa playing centre-mid (certainly no worse than Gareth Barry) but he's shit on the wing. I'd probably just put the massive fee down to it being Citeh. The same Citeh that paid £16m for Kolo, £23m for Barndoor etc.

Ribery - sure he must be decent but I've still never seen him have a good game.

Carragher - great commitment but massively overrated as a defender imo.

Van de Vulva - good player obviously, but the way the press wanked him off at times last season was a joke. A few penalties and half a dozen 6-yard-box tap-ins from "Crouchy" knock downs is hardly earth-shattering stuff.

Modric - way too good for that lot but £35m? Same bracket as Fabregas and Sneijder? Fuck off.

Milner is another one for me. Don't get him at all.

Michael Dawson. Seems like a real poor mans Ledley King.

Frank Lampard. I'm sure he's made a pact with the devil
