Press Conference tomorrow 0900 hrs

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Press Conference tomorrow 0900 hrs

Post by SteveO 35 »

Dan Roan of the BBC has just tweeted:

"Arsenal have called an early Arsene Wenger press conference at 0900 tomorrow - could be interesting"

Any guesses what will be announced ?

- Eboue has signed a new contract.
- We have a new supplier of lamb shanks in the Diamond Club
- Pat Rice has had a sex change
- Theo is launching more of his children's books
- Gunnersaurus has been found drowned in the team bath

Fuck knows really. Any of the above would be more exciting...

Prepare for the spin, excuses and soon to be broken promises. I'm still upbeat though cos I know he will soon be gone. :barscarf: :barscarf:

You don't think he'll be announcing his resignation then ?

Perhaps Martin was right - the board want to bank 60m from Cesc and Nasri and not give him any to spend.

Martin's visionary words will be haunting us all....

.....or maybe as has been suggested, we'll be confirming that Dann is coming in, Nasri and Cesc out.....BUT we are "working day and night to sign SUPER QUALITY"

Talking about football - are you sure ? When you're working "day and night" on all these transfers I doubt there's the time....

It's an obligation to fit this into his busy schedule and face the media....that and working for French TV over the summer.

I have a sneaky feeling It will probably be quite a teary conference for Cesc to say goodbye to the club he loves and cherishes, but is forced to say goodbye to because we suck, ha ha

It will be a nice touch if they do.

God I hope it isn't one of those, full of pre-prepared shit telling us all what great fans we've been, boyhood dreams, the only club I would leave for, this is a fantastic football club etc etc etc

I'll make sure I've got my sick bucket handy
