Could the release of cesc actually improve our team?

Could the release of cesc actually improve our team?

Post by Arsenalhotdog7 »

Now all the fuss and rumours are over and he's officially left. Will the team perhaps play better now they are no longer questioning whether their captain wants to be with them?

Well, Henry leaving seemed to improve the team the following season, so it's certainly possible.

However, I don't think Fabregas was as central (or as good), and with Nasri leaving as well - not to mention Eboue! - there will be too many holes.

Depends if the old goat sticks with the same system or not. If we get a proper striker in an switch to 442 then it might.

We need a goal poacher to finish off chances and quickly.

I dont care who it is Defoe, Bent or even Micheal Owen. I would talk any of them in the current side...

Some players ie the above are only useful for kicking the ball in the net and nothing else.

Wenger just wont sign that type of player so we arent going to change!

Anelka, Bellamy. Please just buy a fucking proven goalscorer, CBs and DM!

How can we improve after losing a world class player?

Yes, probably because we still had a player of the calibre of Fabregas!

I think we've seen enough of Arsenal minus Fabregas to know the answer.

Van Persie now is better than Fabregas was then. And Fabregas had Hleb, Flamini, Adebayor etc around him

So Fabregas was helped by having better/more experienced players around him, partly negating Henry's departure?

Thanks mate!

Sort of but what I am saying is that we still can improve after Fabregas' departure, RvP is better now than CF was when Henry left, and with a decent signing or two we could do well. Not sure if it will happen.
