Missing Person-Manuel Almunia

Post by This Is The Daybreak »

Has this guy just vanished off the face of the earth. We haven't heard anything from the media about him going anywhere for months, he hasn't been seen at pre season, absent from that members day thing and even on the official website all the players are seen sporting their new jerseys apart from Almunia which is last seasons photo. Even Eboue and Fabregas had their photo taken in their new shirt.

My guess is he has been sent to Coventry, but he's not good enough for that level.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's still here when the window shuts and Wenger declares him available again!

Someobdy asked soemthing along the lines with, "when did you give up on Wenger". I have not given up on him, and still believe he is the best man for the job, but if there was a point when I was about to lose it with him it was when he called Almunia a world class keeper!

I heard he has a new job, as a stunt double for Manuel (a cetain Mr Sachs) the waiter in a re-make of Fawlty Towers, starring peter crouch as Cleese and kerry katona as the swedish bird with the big bristols....coming to a tv near you...very soon(ish).

I bet we see him in goal for us before the end of the season, if Wenger lasts that long.

It is all a bit strange. It's also a bit embarrassing for AW that no one rates Alumunia and won't pay for him.

All in all, AW's grand plan is in tatters.

Wenger whilst holidaying in Portugal left him unlocked in a room before dining out in a tapas bar.

He's let himself slip through his own fingers.
