But as the debacle with Schwarzer showed last year, for wenger it's not about how low the fee is, it's about Wenger thinking he is getting them for less than they are worth, and if he doesn't it doesn't matter whether the fee is £2m or £22m he is not going to buy them...
As for 'Drog' the guy is a diving, moody, primadonna, scumbag and i wouldn't want the c*nt anywhere near the club regardless of what he cost.. Your right Anelka would be a handy addition for a couple of seasons..but i'd much rather we stopped acting like a mid table team and just went out and invested properly in a new striker in his peak, a player befitting the club we pretend to be...

Anelka I would be willing to take a punt on if he reverted to the position that he used to play. Playing on the defenders shoulders is what he does best and even though his best is not what it used to be I still think he would bring more pace to the position than we currently have However it seems to me that he has changed his game now to become more of a link man and I dont see the sense in taking away a players best traits

I never knew that I could feel this low as an Arsenal fan that I would welcome back Ashley Cole at the moment, I hate this *word censored* with passion for what he did, but after all that Wenger has done (and hasn't done), my hatred for Wenger far outweighs anything else, Cashley would be a major upgrade on any left winger we currenty have playing at left back.
