I hope he doesn't get injured or suspended until 16th December. I want him to play in the Arsenal vs Chelsea match :)

We'll see if his "extra 5k a week" have made him a better player

uh Terry was technically fit but he only trained the day before and was considered far too much of a risk by the management of injury hitting. The few more extra days will have helped Terry as will playing against the threat of Derby

It's why I can't be bothered with England anymore. The players go off sick but are fit for their clubs, or the ones that play put in fuck-all effort for their country so when the international break is over they can go back fit to play for their clubs. No England in Euro 2008 and I couldn't give a toss. Good luck to the next England manager because he will have a hard job getting the lazy fukkers to do something for him on the pitch.

The England management ruled him too likely to break down is Terry's fault or that Gerrard played on with foot injuries, that Lampard did, that Owen has played more his country then his club, signs of country hating by players are what exactly? That attempt to get back into the game at 2-0 down was clearly guys who had given up, or the heroic rearguard effort at Moscow were hardly of a team who didn't care.

MAGICHAT,

I'VE READ YOUR VIEWS ON THE ENGLAND DEBACLE ON THIS AND OTHER THREADS AND FROM WHAT I CAN UNDERSTAND, YOU BLAME NEITHER McCLAREN NOR THE PLAYERS. SO OUT OF INTEREST, WHO DO YOU THINK IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENGLAND'S FAILURE TO GET OUT OF THEIR GROUP?

NOW I KNOW THE FA HAS PLAYED IT'S PART IN SCREWING UP THE SYSTEM AND MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR US TO DEVELOPE PLAYERS, BUT GIVEN THE QUALITY FOOTBALLERS WE HAVE - AND HAVE HAD OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS - WHO DO YOU THINK ULTIMATELY MADE THE MISTAKES THAT COST ENGLAND A PLACE IN EURO 2008? :?
