I bet we sign somebody today

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsene Wenger went out of his way to say in his interview we wont sign anyone today. Now knowing Mr Wenger, he loves to throw a curve ball at us, and I've put that in the nicest way possible.

I believe we will thus sign a player today.

If NOT my avatar can be up for the forums choice. Not much I know, but lets just wait and see....... :shock:

Yep its been confirmed cahill at emirates. He knocked on the door but no one answered, next door neighbour told him they've gone italy on holiday, so he's gone home. :wink:

Doubt we'll sign a centre back tbh. I reckon we'll a sign a midfielder but that'll be it. Happy to be proved wrong though! :barscarf:

I saw Ali Al Habsi on Kensington High street a couple of days ago, we're clearly signing him as a back up, good signing as a veteran who can help Shezza, and I saw Messi was in London in February and in May, so he's clearly at an advance level of negotiations with us.
