Maybe Medina Boy but for me the end of the World is not upon us, we have a top manager, fantastic stadium, Champions League football now confirmed as well as sufficient time to do what all of us want and strengthen in key areas.

I cannot and will not believe that come this time next week we won't have signed reinforcements to the squad and be in a much better place than we are today - if we are not then I will also wonder where my season ticket money, as well as the money from Fabregas, Na$ri, Clichy, Eboue has gone and have the same questions as some of the people on here.

In Arsene we trust or rust? Split choice at present - IMO still happy with him but not blind to our issues.

Fair points, mate. But has Wenger strenghtened the squad sufficiently over the last 4 or 5 seasons? I would say no. What makes you so sure he will now? And I don't mean just buying in players from the French 2nd Div to make up the numbers - I mean quality players that will add something to the squad...

How many years do you need before you realise that (since 2006) Wenger does not buy adequate replacements, choosing to believe in unknowns?

DB10 - also agree and maybe I am too faithful owing to everything he has done and where he has helped put us, as well as all the good times we have had.

I also am not exactly enamored by replacing strong first team regulars and full internationals with a guy from the French league who looks mustard but may take time to settle and two prospects from the (old money) third division, but despite this I simply cannot believe that Wenger with all his experience and knowledge of the game or Kroenke having spent somewhere in the region of £700m to buy the club want to run it in to the ground or use it as a cash-cow, I cannot think they are that short sighted or naive.

Question is why have we not fixed the issues from last season? - we obviously need a centre back, a defensive midfield leader and for me another striker - the tactics also do my head in at times and I also felt like walking out the ground on occasions when Bendtner was employed as a winger but again I think there will be movement and things will improve.

We cannot compete with City or Chelsea financially - end of so we will not be buying up players like there is no tomorrow but I still think we can attract the right type of player to make us successful and feel we will.

Believe me I don't want another disappointing season as much as the next man and I get the frustration but things change quickly in football and a few good deals can make all the difference and alter people's outlook, just like George Graham did with Hartson, Kiwomya and Helder back in 1995 (always end on a joke!!).

You'd think he'd at least try to change his writing style so it wasn't so obvious. You see, when you're a mod you can tell who's really posting!
