Alcohol,and pompous 70's rock!!!
I am currently 3 parts pissed, listening to a little known late 70's rock band called Lone Star,(who now apparently have a bit ot a cult following).
Me and a mate,(Alistair Marshall),actually went to see them at the then Rugby Polytechnic,(now Warwickshire College),in 1977 after seeing them described in the NME as,"the new Led Zeppelin."They did shamelessly rip Zep off in their two albums,but had their own flashes of brilliance,along with a bit of unintentional Spinal Tap pomposity,(which is no bad thing in small measures).
